the sun beamed down brilliantly on this perfect saturday. and it was beautiful.

i could feel my heart racing in my chest,
witnessing all the love that le'rae and david share with each other.
they are best friends and sole mates...and well that makes for one perfect wedding.

remember ashley and scott...

well, their wedding day finally arrived and i was so excited to be able to share in it with them. they tied the knot at the beautiful colonial country club in fort myers, fl. and it was purely breathtaking.

i knew that, in an instant of walking in the woman's bathroom, and seeing all the ladies getting ready, that i was going to have a wonderful time. smiles from ear to ear...everyone was excited to share in the day. and that just filled my heart up.

the burroughs home.

finding a balance can be very difficult. how much to work and when to play. and although sammy is now at the age where i need to generally play more then work....well, it's finding that acceptable balance that is causing me to wonder.

and if you have ever wondered how people can work at home and be a stay-at-home...well, that's a great challenge. consider this: you have images to edit, sneak peeks to post and photographs to edit. and then out of the corner of your eye you see your little one just watching you. and although you have things to do...you can't resist her little smile that sends you to her side at once.

my little one has a great hold on my so called balance. so for now i will play. and when the daylight starts to fade. and the bath has been given. and my little sam is tucked away into bed...well it's then that i will work.

and for now that is the balance i have.

{lacey & jake}

weddings are amazing. and it's so hard to put to words just how amazing they truly are...being able to stand back and experience weddings unfold behind the lens of my camera...well that's just beautiful. and standing there on this wedding day lacey and jake were surrounded by so much love from their family and friends. i love how i got to share in their day--and celebrate--the joy they have.

and i know that i am pretty emotional these days, but it was just beautiful. trust me.
